Ramesh Vasudevan joined SFR in 2002 and is currently in charge of the Green Network Project at the Network Division. Within this role he defines the global roadmap and guidelines to increase the energy efficiency across the fixed and mobile networks. The main challenge is to reduce the energy consumption in a context of network expansion He’s also involved in the definition of the target End to End network architecture. Prior to that Ramesh Vasudevan was Head of the Mobile Transport Architecture and Technology, in charge of defining optimized transport solutions to support the 3G/HSDPA network expansion and reduce Opex. Prior to SFR, Ramesh Vasudevan worked for MCI Worldcom where he held different position in network architecture and engineering for the Pan-European network development. He also worked for various fixed and cellular operators as consultant.
