Graduate of the Ecole normale supérieure of Cachan and Associate Professor of Economics and Management, Antoine Darodes started his career at the Autorité de la concurrence (national competition authority) in July 2014, after completing a three-year doctorate program on sanctions policies in competition law. Within the Autorité de la concurrence, he is responsible for electronic communications cases investigations.
In October 2009, he joins the ARCEP (national College of Electronic Communications and Posts Regulation), as special project manager for the Chief Executive Officer first, and then as fast/ultrafast broadband markets and local authorities affairs Director. In November 2012, Antoine Darodes is appointed by the Government to lead the Mission Très Haut Débit, in charge of implementing the Plan France Très Haut Débit (ultrafast broadband French national plan), which aims at a widespread deployment of ultra-high speed infrastructures on the whole territory.
Since July 6th 2015, he is the director of the Agence du Numérique (Agency for Digital Affairs), in charge of conducting the Plan France Très Haut Débit, the French Tech program and the Digital culture and citizenship action.
