President and Founder
Bertin Nahum, President and founder of Quantum Surgical, holds an Engineering Degree from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA, Lyon, France) and a Master of Science in Robotics from Coventry University (United Kingdom).
Following ten years of field experiences in renowned companies specialized in surgical robotics, Bertin Nahum founded Medtech in 2002. The company developed the robotic assistants ROSA™, dedicated to neurosurgery and spine surgery. In July 2016, the leader Zimmer Biomet acquired Medtech. At the beginning of 2017, Bertin Nahum, together with three of his former associates, founded Quantum Surgical, a start-up dedicated to the invention and production of intelligent and innovative assistants for minimally invasive surgery.
Previously in 2012, Bertin Nahum was ranked 4th amongst the 10 most revolutionary high-tech entrepreneurs by the Canadian magazine Discovery Series.
