Erik Linquier is the General Commissioner for France at the Dubai 2020 Universal Exhibition. He is also President of COFREX, a French company dedicated to France’s participation in universal and international exhibitions.

Previously, Erik was Executive Director (Managing Director) at Accenture, the world’s leading consulting firm. He has led client relationships in the fields of energy, environment, utilities and the public sector in France and Europe, developing consulting activities around innovation, digital and transformation projects. He has 15 years of experience in these sectors. With the general management, he has managed projects leading to the transformation of companies and organizations into strategic, operational and organizational matters.

He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Les Eaux de Versailles, which produces and distributes water to 500,000 customers in the Paris region.

He is a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Strategic Committee of the Monnaie de Paris, the world’s oldest company in the sector, which produces and sells coins, medals and luxury products throughout the world.

Erik also worked for EDF, the world’s leading energy group, as head of negotiations on regulated network tariffs and concessions.

Erik’s career began at the Court of Auditors as an auditor. He then joined the Ministry of Finance where he was Economic Counsellor at the French Embassy in Ottawa (Canada), Deputy Permanent Representative to the WTO in Geneva, French Chief Negotiator for European Trade Agreements and finally Secretary General of the Treasury Directorate. He is a graduate of Science Po and a former student of the ENA.
