Over 25 years experience in the Content and Media Business, with a strong background in the Content Production & Rights Acquisition, Marketing, Product Design, … and the ability to execute and manage the business on the Spanish Media Market and the International One for Telefonica in the last 10 years.
Over this time, he has been a responsible for Director of Contents in Telefónica S.A., Development of New Business within the Telefónica Group, launching the IPTV (Pay TV Service), launching several OTT Services (Music, Games, eBooks, …), etc. in connection to the core telecommunications business (fix & mobile voice, broadband).
Today he is Director of Global Audiovisual Strategy in Telefonica.
Outside Telefonica, he has been a member of the Board of Directors at Several Audiovisual Productions Companies (Crea Anima 2, Caribe Music, S.A., Pantomima, etc.) and he has worked in other outstanding companies in the media sector, such as Walt Disney Company, Globo Media, S.A., etc.
