As VP Corporate Research Center (CRC), Laurent oversees the exploration of new technologies with the goal of creating or enriching Schneider Electric products and services offering.  CRC expertise ranges from Materials to Power Conversion, System architecture, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning and Cybersecurity.

He was previously director of Solutions and Software Services at Kalray, a high tech startup designing massively parallel, high performance and low energy processors.

Before that, he co-created the operating structure of Minalogic, a leading cluster of 250+ high-tech companies and research labs specialized in micro-nanotechnologies and embedded systems.

He also served in a variety of R&D positions with Xerox, first at the Xerox Research Center Europe and then in other Xerox entities based in USA (Rochester, NY, and Palo Alto, CA). Laurent started his career at Hewlett Packard in R&D.

Laurent graduated from Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (Grenoble INP).
